Tarboo Forest protected! A total of 238 acres of forestland in the Tarboo valley has been protected for wildlife habitat, sustainable forestry and protection of clean water thanks to private donors and Jefferson County Conservation Futures Program.
The October 19-20 weekend workshop meets at a conference center in beautiful Port Townsend and makes field excursions by carpool to the Tarboo watershed, Tarboo Wildlife Preserve, and Dabob Bay located about 30 minutes south.
